The Trentini Scholarship Awards include:
$30,000 awarded to the winner, with each of the 5 remaining nominees receiving $1000/ each.
$1000 to a Community College/Technical school recipient selected by school committee.
Trentini Scholarship: The Anthony J. Trentini Scholarship was established to help graduates for Wake Forest-Rolesville High School and Heritage High School continue their education. Each year, one student is selected from the submissions presented to the committee. Student applications are reviewed based on the following criteria:
- Overall achievement, including scholarship, athletics, leadership, and participation in all school activities.
- The extent to which the student has fulfilled his or her potential in self-development.
- Overall character including the development of a set of personal ethics and values, citizenship, and appreciation of family and community.
- Social development and maturity including the ability of the student to relate to his peers, his family, the school, and other social entities.
